Living by Faith (part 4)

The just shall live by faith [Habakkuk 2:4  Romans 1:17  Galatians 3:11  Hebrews 10:38]
Continued from Living By Faith, Part 3.
[Deuteronomy 28:7] The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.
[Proverbs 23:7] For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:
[Proverbs 4:20-24] 20My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. 23Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. 24Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.
[Ephesians 4:15] But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
[Galatians 4:19] My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,
[Romans 8:29-31] 29For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. 31What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
[Romans 8] 1There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 4That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 5For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. 12Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. 13For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. 14For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. 19For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. 21Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 24For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? 25But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. 28And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. 29For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. 31What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? 32He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? 33Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.
[Philippians 4:8] Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
[Hebrews 11:39] And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:
[Romans 3:26-28] 26To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. 27Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. 28Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

Living By Faith (part 3)

The just shall live by faith [Habakkuk 2:4  Romans 1:17  Galatians 3:11  Hebrews 10:38]
Continued from Living By Faith, Part 2

Appendix A - List of Scriptures Referenced In Living By Faith Parts 1 and 2.
[Hebrews 11:1-3] 1Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2For by it the elders obtained a good report. 3Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
[Romans 10:17] So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
[Galatians 3:2] This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
[Galatians 3:5] He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
[Romans 3:27] Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
[1John 5:3-5] 3For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. 4For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. 5Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
[Ephesians 6:10-18] 10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;.
[Romans 8:30] Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
[1 Corinthians 4:4] For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord.
[1 Corinthians 6:11] And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
[Galatians 3:11] But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.
[Romans 3:24] Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
[Psalm 91] 1He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. 3Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. 4He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. 5Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; 6Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. 7A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. 8Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. 9Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; 10There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. 11For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. 12They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. 13Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. 14Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. 15He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. 16With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
[1Peter 5:6-7] 6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: 7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
[Hebrews 10:14] For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
[Psalm 41:11] By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.
[Psalm 92:4] For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.
[2Corinthians 2:14] Now thanks [be] unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.
[1Corinthians 15:57] But thanks [be] to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
[Roman 12:19] Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but [rather] give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance [is] mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
[Hebrew 10:30] For we know him that hath said, Vengeance [belongeth] unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.
[2Thessalonians 1:6] Seeing [it is] a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;
[2Thessalonians 3:3] But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep [you] from evil.
[2Timothy 4:18] And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve [me] unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom [be] glory for ever and ever. Amen.
[Isaiah 54:17] No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue [that] shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This [is] the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness [is] of me, saith the LORD.

Living By Faith (part 2)

The just shall live by faith [Habakkuk 2:4  Romans 1:17  Galatians 3:11  Hebrews 10:38]  Continued from Living By Faith, Part 1.
Our faith helps us to walk or live by faith and not by sight (i.e., the five senses and emotions). A good example is of this principle is contained in [Numbers chapters 13 and 14], where Moses, at FatherGod’s command, sent 12 individuals to spy out the land of Canaan. After 40 days they returned and 10 gave an evil report based on what they observed and only 2 gave a good report based on their faith or trust in FatherGod’s promises in-lieu of what they observed. Also as an example, many of you have heard me say that “I am having a perfect day in everyway!” which is my standard faith confession or reply when I am asked how I am doing. This is my faith confession and not necessarily what I may perceive through my five senses or emotions.

It is based on my faith on the promises of FatherGod and HIS willingness to perform them on behalf of us HIS Children. I use my faith in the following scriptures to live a happy, confident carefree life on a daily basis: [Psalm 91] [1Peter 5:6-7] [Hebrews 10:14] [Psalm 41:11] [Psalm 92:4] [2Corinthians 2:14] [1Corinthians 15:57] [Roman 12:19] [Hebrew 10:30] [2Thessalonians 1:6] [2Thessalonians 3:3] [2Timothy 4:18] [Isaiah 54:17] [Deuteronomy 28:7].
  • Our faith helps us to stay healthy by prospering our soul. The following scriptures illustrate the relationship between our soul and our health [3John1:2] [Proverbs 16:24] [Proverbs 15:30].
  • Our faith helps us to partake of FatherGod’s provision of perfect radiant divine health [John 3:14] [Matthew 8:17] [Isaiah 53: 4-5] [1Peter 2:24] [3 John 1] [Exodus 15:26] [Psalm 103:2-4] [Hebrews 11:1] [Hebrews 4:2] [Hebrews 6:12] [Hebrews 10:22] [Hebrews 10:23]. Please see Appendix B below to read these healing related scriptures.
  • Our faith helps us to stay healthy by guarding our spiritual heart [Proverbs 23:7] [Proverbs 4:2--24].
  • Our faith helps us to be transformed into the image of Christ/Messiah by being transformed by the renewing of our Mind. As we speak the truth in love we grow up into Christ/Messiah in all things [Ephesians 4:15] [Galatians 4:19] [Romans 8:29-31].
  • Out faith helps us to be spiritually minded by walking after the Spirit and not after the flesh [Romans 8].
  • Our faith helps us to be a doers of FatherGod’s word by always thinking thoughts and speak words that are honest, just, pure, lovely, of good report, virtuous, and praiseworthy [Philippians 4:8].

OVERVIEW

In the natural world we live by oxygen, water, food, exercise, rest, sunshine, etc. Similarly in the spiritual world or Kingdom of FatherGod, we are to live life by our faith and other spiritual laws, such as sowing and reaping and confession is possession. Moreover, it is not possible to please FatherGod without faith [Hebrews 11:6]. Note: Please see Appendix A below in order to read all referenced scriptures.

Since we all desire to be doers of FatherGod’s Holy Word and thus live by Faith, it is important that we know as much as is possible about faith and other spiritual laws. In this regard let’s explore various aspects of faith and how it works in our daily spiritual life.

Please visit the following website for all scriptures pertaining to faith. http://www.lovefaithhopefellowship.com/a2_Love_Faith_Hope.html

TRUTHS REGARDING FAITH

Faith is spiritual substance [Hebrews 11:1-3].
Faith comes by hearing FatherGod’s Word [Romans 10:17].
Faith is the law of the New Covenant [Romans 3:27].
We Children of FatherGod are the Just [Romans 8:30] [1 Corinthians 4:4] [1Corinthians 6:11] [Galatians 3:11] [Romans 3:24].

PRACTICAL APPLICATION OF FAITH

Our faith is outwardly expressed by our thoughts, words and deeds as we base our thinking, speaking and acts on the standard of FatherGod’s promises to us HIS Children which are contained in HIS Holy Word.
Life involves a series of choices. We can choose how we will react in any given situation. Practicing faith gives us a choice to respond the way our loving FatherGod desires that we respond in any given situation.

Our faith permits us to overcome the influence of the world system (i.e., the kingdom of darkness) by acting like our loving heavenly FatherGod by calling those things which be not as though they are, thus we creatively focus on solutions we desire instead of focusing on an existing problems [1John 5:3-5] [Ephesians 6:10-18].

Our faith helps us to guard our spiritual heart by permitting us to always choose to speak and act in love regardless of the particular circumstances. For example, if someone insults us whether alone or in the present of others we can reply by faith in a loving manner or simply not respond at all by faith. You can also say that you forgive or love someone by faith regardless of how you feel at that moment. Remember, faith does not consider the emotional state you may be in at the moment nor the evidence of the five senses. However, our feelings follow our thoughts, therefore our emotions will get in line or accord with our faith confessions. Please see the following website for a detailed discussion of the Spiritual Heart and other Spiritual Laws:

Hope, Faith and Love

[1Corinthians 13:13] And now abideth faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

HOPE

Where do we as FatherGod’s Children get our Hope for a better future? Let’s make a wild guess and say from our FatherGod’s Holy Word – yes! Congratulations we are Correct! [Romans 15:4] For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

Please note that As FatherGod’s Children, there are many wonderful promises given to each of us in the Holy Word of Our loving heavenly Father. HIS Word includes a promise for everything that we HIS Children require to live a life of ‘Heaven On Earth.’ HE has given us promises (i.e., Hope) for All Spiritual Blessings, Complete Protection, Wonderful Financial Prosperity, Victorious and Successful Living, Long Happy Healthy Life including the Very Best of Every Good Thing to enjoy. Please see Appendix A below for supporting scriptures.

Any promise we read in FatherGod’s Holy Word is there for us to immediately appropriate for our profit and use at this very moment and also on a moment by moment, day by day basis, in order that we may live a more abundant life as Heaven on Earth. We can appropriate each promise through our prayer and thanksgiving whenever we desire or require them. However, in order to appropriate each of the promises we must use our faith, patience and love. [Hebrews 6:12] That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises. [Galatians 5:6] For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

Please see the articles entitled “Receiving FatherGod’s Promises/Blessings Today“ also, “Becoming More Like Christ/Messiah” at the following websites to better understand how to receive our inheritance.

It is important to realize that everything now belongs to us as FatherGod’s Children; Join Heirs with Christ/Messiah; and Members of the Living Spiritual body of Christ/Messiah. EVERYTHING IS ALREADY PAID IN FULL BY OUR LORD CHRIST/MESSIAH. ALL THAT REMAINS IS FOR US TO RECEIVE OUR INHERITANCE. I WILL SAY IT AGAIN! ALL THAT REMAINS IS FOR US TO RECEIVE OUR INHERITANCE

Let’s look at the following example, which shows: (1) how to obtain Hope for Healing or Perfect Radiant Divine Health and (2) how to apply Faith to our Hope. The basic principle in this example can be applied to any promise from FatherGod.

First, we read a promise in FatherGod’s Word regarding healing such as. [1Peter 2:24] Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. [Matthew 8:17] That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

As we contemplate these and perhaps other healing related scriptures, such as those in Appendix B below, we suddenly have Hope for healing or Perfect Radiant Divine Health. FatherGod always does the absolute best in everything HE does, therefore, HE does a complete and perfect healing and does not heal or restore a person’s leg and leave their eye and arm damaged. Now we are full of hope!
The next question is “After we have Hope what’s next?” the answer is “Faith for our Hope which in this example is our Hope for Healing or Perfect Radiant Divine Health”!

FAITH

Second, please carefully read and think about the Faith related scriptures in Appendix C. They explain that: Faith gives substance to our Hope; Faith comes by hearing the Word of FatherGod; HE has given us HIS Children the measure of Faith and expects us to live by Faith; Faith is outwardly expressed by our thoughts, words and deeds; Faith works or is energized by Love; Faith always gives a good report regarding possession of FatherGod's promises; and FatherGod expects us to use our Faith along with our Patience to receive and manifest HIS promises in our physical lives.

LOVE

Please see the following website for a detailed discussion of Love.

You are greatly loved by Our Loving Heavenly FatherGod (FatherLove) and our savior.lord.brother Christ/Messiah. FatherLove and Christ/Messiah live within each of you and you are FatherLove's very best masterpiece! (Colossians 1:27, Ephesians 2:10).

[2Peter 1:3-4] 3According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

[2Corinthians 1:20] For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

[Psalm 112: 1-3] 1Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments. 2His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed. 3Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.
